WIMBLEDON ROOF STEEL WORK INSTALLATION

Although this looked like an easy job on paper, it was fairly tricky to erect. We had a very small area in which to set the crane & once set up, we only had 100mm to spare to clear the hoarding. All steel had to be offloaded from inside with only a 7am to 10am window to get all lorries off-loaded & back out as tourists gain access to at 10am. The steel work was fabricated in ASME’s workshop, sent out to be prime painted, then collected & brought back to site on ASME’s Hiab lorry. The curved sections were out sourced for rolling, then fabricated by ASME. The job went really well & the main contractor is very happy with the installation. We had a Health and Safety Inspection during the installation process and achieved an excellent score of 96%
